Cleaning was unbelievable! The company quotes off of square footage, but make sure to request a physical walk through so that the quote is accurate! We hired Calico to do a deep clean in the house we were about to list, and they encountered mouse droppings under the kitchen and bathroom sinks (house was built in 1900). A $200 fee was assigned, though we were not aware of the fee. We could have cleaned those spots ourselves if we had known. Got an explanation by way of the list they send that shows what they will do and what they won’t - which simply says “fecal matter” but no fees listed. I agreed to the fee since it was listed in the document we received when they sent the quote. We were quoted a 5 hour clean with 2 cleaners - the job took 7 hours. The coordinator was not friendly about the quote being wrong, and said flippantly, “if you don’t pay, you don’t pay”. I did not pay the extra hours, though I feel somehow responsible for this miscalculation. Otherwise, the cleaning work was top notch! I’m very impressed.
